
Former Super Eagles and Inter Milan striker Obafemi Martins has supported Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen’s potential move to Manchester United.
Victor, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray has been linked with several top clubs, which includes the Man United, following his explosive year with Napoli with 31 goals, which helped Napoli secure their first Serie A title in 33 years. The blues have been eyeing this striker since last summer.
Speaking this afternoon Martins expressed confidence in Osimhen’s ability to transform Manchester United’s attacking force if the Red Devils were able to have him
“If he comes into this team, everything changes, especially in terms of the way they score goals,” Martins said. “He has speed and power, but also finishing. He is one of the best finishers in Europe, and he has proven it in successive seasons.”
While United are reportedly monitoring the 2023 African best player performances at Galatasaray, the Nigerian striker has recorded 13 goals in 16 appearances which triggered the potential suitors.
While the speculation about the Super Eagles striker making a move to England continues. Earlier reports suggest that Napoli’s sporting director, Giovanni Manna, had discussions with Osimhen regarding a potential move to Manchester United.
But, the Nigerian striker has expressed his intention to remain in his current club until the end of the season, stating that any interested parties will have to wait until then.
