My daughter was the target of bullying due to the fact that she possesses an Android phone rather than an iPhone.

At a school in Memphis on Friday morning, a pupil who was 11 years old attacked a girl who was 10 years old in the back.

According to Fox News, police from the Memphis Police Department came to Hamilton K-8 School at approximately eleven o’clock on Friday morning after a student was attacked with a kitchen knife during lunch.

The victim was sent to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening, and the culprit was taken into custody by the police.

According to Action News 5, Memphis-Shelby County Schools spokesperson Jermaine Johnson stated that the stabbing occurred as a consequence of an altercation that took place on social media and continued for more than a week.

The suspect, who was 11 years old girl, confessed to the police that she and the victim, who was 10 years old, had a disagreement over the phone the day before, and that the victim had threatened to jump her with her pals.

As a means of self-defense, the suspect informed the authorities that she had carried a kitchen knife from her residence.

According to reports, the two pupils continued to quarrel throughout the course of the class on Friday morning, and the argument went into the cafeteria, which is where the stabbing took place.

Jennifer Williams, the mother of the victim, gave an interview to WREG in which she stated that her daughter was the target of bullying due to the fact that she possesses an Android phone rather than an iPhone.

It is her opinion that the school ought to take more measures to block the entry of weapons into the school.

“My daughter just got stabbed up today in her back with a steak knife. “The kids are running the school, because how else can you get a steak knife in here?”

Parents are encouraged to take an active role in watching their children, according to a statement that was posted by the Memphis-Shelby County Schools.

It reads, “We kindly remind parents to check their child’s backpack daily and monitor their social media activity. The safety and security of students and staff remain our top priority.”
