Prior to being promoted to his current position, Osifeso served in the Oyo State Command as a Superintendent of Police (SP).

Top police officers, family members, and well-wishers gathered for the celebration to honour the newly promoted officers’ achievements.

Speaking to the command’s staff, the Police Commissioner commended the officers for their efforts and commitment, which led to their promotion.

He urged the honoured officers to provide leadership and mentoring in their roles and characterised the promotions as a call to increased responsibility.

At a time when law enforcement is continuously struggling with perception management and changing security issues, CP Sonubi reminded the promotees that they now have higher obligations and challenged them to live up to the expectations that come with the new rank.
