Alerte provides a one-swipe emergency alert system that notifies trusted contacts when users are in danger

The Nigerian market has been introduced to a breakthrough safety technology platform that goes by the name Alerte. It was revealed in Lagos on the penultimate Saturday that the app that was developed by Alerte Universal Limited enables users who are in a state of emergency to share their position in real time with only a swipe.

  • Noah Useghan, the regional director of Alerte Universal Limited, made the following observation about the application: “The application is a one-of-a-kind platform that provides real-time emergency alerts, and it allows individuals who are in distress the opportunity to share their location.”
  • “The application includes key features such as fire outbreak, accident, emergency, en route, and armed robbery.
  • “The Alerte application helps users to get fast help and to connect with emergency contacts with just a swipe.
  • “Alerte enhances safety through smart emergency response and helps you to track your loved one’s location
  • ” If there is a need, they can get help by just swiping on the application.
  • “In this country, we have insecurity issues and there are also challenges of delayed response.
  • “Alerte is here to help you get help with just one swipe. With one swipe, the user’s name, location and all other information that is required are shared with emergency contacts and it becomes easier to get help.
  • “So, our mission is to empower people with the tools to stay safe and get help instantly in emergencies.
  • “We prioritize user privacy, rapid response, and seamless integration with emergency contacts.
  • “Alerte provides a one-swipe emergency alert system that notifies trusted contacts when users are in danger.”

As a result of the fact that statistics indicate that “in the UK, over 40,000 people were declared missing between 2023 and 2024,” Noah Useghan noted that Alerte is able to handle safety issues such as delayed response time, limited awareness of the situation, and the absence of a uniform platform for swift emergency notifications.

More than half a million persons were reported missing in the United States of America in 2023, according to the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).

During the year 2004, it was claimed that more than 24,000 persons were missing in Nigeria. It is clear from this that the circumstances are the way they are because of the difficulties that have been encountered, and the application known as Alerte was developed to deal with these difficulties.

Alerte Universal Limited, which was established by James Useghan, intends to further develop the Alerte program by including official emergency organizations such as the police, fire department, and ambulance services into its platform.

In addition, there are plans to incorporate Alerte with miniature car trackers, artificial intelligence-based safety suggestions based on user actions, and an expansion into the global market in order to guarantee the safety of a greater number of individuals.

Alerte enables location tracking for emergency response, facilitates community-based networks where users can send alerts to nearby people, and ensures fast and reliable notifications via push alerts rather than traditional SMS — these are the statements made by Useghan, who displayed its essence while speaking to a select group of journalists.
