Tragic events occurred Tuesday in the Takie neighborhood of Ogbomoso, Oyo State, when a truck carrying containers lost control and collided with a commercial tricycle, reportedly killing three people.
Two female passengers and the tricycle rider were trapped beneath the fallen container in the accident, which happened at Takie Junction at around 9:30 a.m.
In order to prevent more collisions and restore traffic flow in the region, efforts are being made to remove the container off the road.
Drivers approaching the impacted area of the road are advised by authorities to proceed with caution.
