POLICE OFFERS FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO FAMILIES OF FALLEN HEROES IN KEBBI

The Kebbi State Police Command has presented cheques totaling ₦46,672,992.75 to 23 families of deceased police officers in the state. The financial assistance was provided under the Group Life Assurance, IGP Family Welfare, and Group Personal Accident Schemes, and was delivered on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.

The cheques were handed over to the families by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Administration, DCP Aminu Babale, at a solemn ceremony held at the State Headquarters in Birnin Kebbi. Babale urged the beneficiaries to use the funds wisely, saying “I urged you to use the funds wisely to address your immediate needs and invest in your families’ future, particularly in education and financial stability.”

He also extended condolences to the families, saying “Let me on behalf of the CP extend our condolences, pray for the eternal rest of the departed souls and strength for their families to bear the loss.”

Muhammad Sani, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to the IG, CP Sani, and the Kebbi State Police Command, acknowledging their generosity and support during difficult times.
