Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) has Appointed Honourable Sharafadeen Awotunde as Chairman of the Ifelodun Local Government
New executive members have been appointed by the Osun chapter of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON).
This first meeting took place on Tuesday at the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs, and it was during this meeting that the inauguration took place.
The Honourable Sharafadeen Awotunde assumed the role of Chairman of the Ifelodun Local Government, while the Honourable Lukman Afolabi of the Ede South Local Government assumed the role of Secretary.
As Awotunde was delivering his address, he expressed his gratitude to each and every member of the association for choosing him to lead the association at this level.
The chairman said, “I equally thank members of the public for supporting the PDP candidates in the local government election.
“The association appreciates the role of peace embarked upon by Osun State Government under the leadership of Senator Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke and our vibrant PDP State Chairman,Hon. Sunday Bisi for their peaceful effort.
“As the Chairman of ALGON,I pledge the support of all the local government Chairmen in following the developmental stride of our governor during our tenure.”
