Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has appointed Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, son of Afenifere leader Reuben Fasoranti, as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
This move is part of a broader reshuffle of the state’s executive council aimed at strengthening the administration.
Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, who previously served as the Chairman of the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board, is expected to bring his expertise to bear in his new role as SSG. His appointment has been widely welcomed by stakeholders in the state, who see him as a capable and experienced hand.

– Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac as Commissioner for Finance
– Engr. Johnson Alabi as Special Adviser on Power
– Dr. Seun Osamaye as Special Adviser on Women Affairs
– Comrade Bola Taiwo as Special Adviser on Union Matters & Special Duties
– Prof. Simidele Odimayo as Special Adviser on Health
The reappointment of these special advisers is seen as a strategic move by Governor Aiyedatiwa to maintain continuity and stability in his administration.
