The justice system in Nigeria has been hijacked by uniformed, uncouth security agents ranging from the DSS, Nigeria Police Force, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps
Omoyele Sowore, a publisher and Advocate for human rights, took a video at the Federal High Court in Abuja, where he was harassed by Nigeria Police and DSS at the Court.
The content of the viral video revealed that the officers were preventing individuals from accessing the court for reasons that were not clear.
The Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Police Force, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps are among the uniformed security agents who have taken control of the Nigerian justice system, according to Sowore.
Sowore said because of a crook named Alhaji Yahaya Bello, they engaged in unlawfully mounting in front of the court today and harassing everyone.
Even attorneys were harassed because of the same Yahaya Bello whom they were unable to arrest for months, he blast the officers for their terrible manners.
He urged Nigerian Bar Association to put an end to such nonsense.
Sowore wrote, “The justice system in Nigeria has been hijacked by uniformed, uncouth security agents ranging from the DSS, Nigeria Police Force, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
“Today, they mounted illegally in front of the court, harassing everybody because of a thief, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
“The same Yahaya Bello they couldn’t apprehend for months; even lawyers were harassed, and the Nigerian Bar Association should stop this nonsense.
