The post immediately drew an outpouring of sympathy, with colleagues, fans, and admirers flooding his comment section to offer prayers and words of comfort during this painful time.

This latest tragedy comes just days after the Nollywood industry was hit with another devastating blow. On Tuesday, Peju Ogunmola, daughter of the late legendary dramatist Kola Ogunmola, lost her only child, Oluwasinaayomi Omobolanle.

Oluwasinaayomi, affectionately called Shina, was the only son of the actress and her husband, veteran comic actor Sunday Omobolanle, popularly known as Papi Luwe. His untimely passing sent shockwaves across the movie industry, leaving both family and colleagues in deep sorrow.

At just 24 years old, Shina had begun making his mark as a singer and entertainer. Having recently completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme, his future seemed bright, with expectations that he would soon take bold steps into building a successful career.

Sadly, his life was cut short at a time when his family and admirers looked forward to seeing him blossom into greater achievements, making the loss even more painful.

Reports revealed that his mother was on a film set when the sad news broke, adding to the heartbreaking nature of the tragedy.

Together, the back-to-back losses of Ibrahim Chatta’s son and Peju Ogunmola’s only child within the same week have cast a dark cloud of grief over Nollywood, reminding the entertainment world of life’s fragility and the importance of supporting one another in difficult times.
