Manchester United have accepted an offer from Real Betis for winger Antony, paving the way for the Brazilian to complete a permanent move to Seville based club.
The 25-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan at the LaLiga side, has been granted permission to travel to Spain to undergo a medical and finalise personal terms.

United had been adamant throughout negotiations that they would not sanction another straight loan for Antony, instead insisting on a permanent deal.
Betis, despite their financial struggles, have now reached an agreement with the Premier League club, believed to be in the region of €25 million (£21.3m).

Antony pushes for Betis return
Antony has made no secret of his desire to return to Betis, where he enjoyed a strong six-month spell last season, scoring nine goals in 24 starts.
The Brazil international is understood to have rejected interest from the Saudi Pro League, as well as monitoring from Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich, in favour of a move back to the Benito VillamarÃn.

If completed, the transfer will end a difficult three-year stint at Old Trafford, Signed from Ajax for £86 million (€95m) in 2022, Antony struggled to consistently deliver, with his form and confidence fluctuating across his United career.
A significant twist in negotiations
Talks between United and Betis had been tense all summer, with the Spanish club initially pushing for another loan deal.
However, the Red Devils stood firm on their demand for a permanent sale, eventually forcing Betis to adjust their stance as the transfer deadline approached.

While personal terms are yet to be agreed, they are not expected to be a stumbling block. Antony has been unwavering in his determination to secure a Betis return, even amid competing offers.
Should the deal be finalised, it will see Betis secure a marquee signing while United draw a line under one of the most expensive and disappointing transfers in their history.
