Award-winning British actor Micheal Ward, widely recognised for his role as Jamie in the Netflix series Top Boy, appeared in a London court on Thursday to face multiple rape and sexual assault charges.
The 27-year-old actor, who has also starred in the Hollywood film Eddington alongside Joaquin Phoenix and Pedro Pascal, is confronting serious allegations that have sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry.
Micheal Ward, was formally charged last month with five counts, including two counts of rape, two counts of assault by penetration, and one count of sexual assault.
