In a fresh twist to the ongoing drama surrounding the Edochie family, Yinka Theisen — the former partner of Linc Edochie, elder brother to Nollywood actor Yul Edochie — has accused Yul’s estranged wife, May Edochie, of masterminding a relentless campaign of online harassment against her.

Taking to social media on Wednesday, August 14, Theisen issued a fiery public statement, directly warning May to put an end to what she described as calculated cyberbullying orchestrated through May’s fan base, popularly known as “May Nation.”

According to Yinka, this group of loyal supporters allegedly launched coordinated attacks on her personal life, which included targeting her family, leaking her personal information, and even initiating a petition to her employers with the aim of getting her dismissed from her job.

“A group of women wrote a petition to my employers claiming I was bullying a suicidal woman who is not suicidal at all, just to get me fired,” Yinka alleged. “They attacked my kids, shared my number, and made me a target when I chose to retaliate. They kept pushing until Linc Edochie announced our breakup.”

Theisen claimed that the harassment persisted despite her relationship with Linc ending, suggesting that the motive was personal and linked to ongoing disputes within the Edochie family circle. She accused May of fueling the campaign against her and declared that she would no longer tolerate the alleged abuse.

“May Yul-Edochie, enough is enough. I am warning you publicly for the last time — leave me alone!” she wrote in the post.

The incident has reignited public interest in the highly publicized marital crisis between May and Yul Edochie, which has been marred by controversies, social media spats, and divided fan loyalty. Over the past year, May has garnered strong public sympathy following her split from Yul, especially after his marriage to fellow actress Judy Austin. However, Yinka’s recent allegations cast a shadow over the perceived conduct of some members of her online fan base.

Cyberbullying has increasingly become a pressing issue in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, with several celebrities speaking out about the damaging effects of online harassment on their careers, mental health, and personal relationships.

As of press time, May Edochie has not publicly responded to Yinka Theisen’s accusations. The matter continues to stir intense debate among Nollywood followers, with many calling for restraint, dialogue, and responsible use of social media influence.

If the allegations hold, this could spark fresh conversations about fan culture, personal boundaries, and the darker side of celebrity feuds in Nigeria’s entertainment scene.
