Nigerian comedian Klintoncod has sparked fresh social media conversations after questioning nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest’s explanation for missing Davido’s lavish Miami wedding.

Cubana Chief Priest, whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, had earlier told fans he could not attend the high-profile ceremony because he was denied a United States visa. The self-acclaimed Celebrity Barman expressed disappointment over the missed opportunity to celebrate with the Afrobeats superstar, describing it as a painful experience.

However, Klintoncod appeared unconvinced. In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), the UK-based comedian expressed doubts over the visa denial story, citing the example of Davido’s aide, Isreal DMW, who was able to travel to Miami despite having what Klintoncod described as “limited English proficiency.”

“You see that Chief Priest story of being denied a US visa, I also doubt that story sha. Israel wey no sabi speak English like that enter Miami, na Billionaire Chief Priest dem come deny visa but wife and kids get. Baba know why him no wan touch US soil sha,” Klintoncod wrote.

The comedian’s statement quickly drew mixed reactions from fans. Some agreed with his skepticism, suggesting that Cubana Chief Priest may have other personal reasons for avoiding travel to the US. Others defended the socialite, recalling that he had once publicly revealed being denied a visa in the past when he was less famous and had relied on an agent to process his application.

One user on X referenced this previous claim in an attempt to clarify the situation. But Klintoncod was unmoved, bluntly responding with “Dead talk still!!” — reinforcing his doubts about the nightclub owner’s explanation.

Davido’s Miami wedding has continued to dominate headlines, with several notable Nigerian celebrities flying into the United States for the star-studded occasion. From music industry heavyweights to political dignitaries, the event was a convergence of influence, luxury, and media buzz.

Cubana Chief Priest, known for his flamboyant lifestyle, was notably absent, fueling speculation and gossip among fans. While visa denials are not uncommon, especially for Nigerians applying to the US, Klintoncod’s comments have reignited online debates about the real reasons behind such high-profile absences.

As the online drama unfolds, neither Cubana Chief Priest nor Davido has publicly addressed Klintoncod’s comments. Meanwhile, social media users continue to dissect every angle of the story, proving once again that when it comes to Nigerian entertainment, the conversations never end.
