Spain international Alvaro Morata has completed a move to Serie A newcomers Como 1907, following the early termination of his loan spell at Galatasaray.
The transfer was confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano today, who stated: “It’s all signed: Álvaro Morata can be considered the new Como player from AC Milan after Galatasaray loan broke.”

Morata, 32, is set to be officially registered by Como after the final administrative steps are completed. The experienced striker is understood to have made the move in search of a more prominent role than he had during his time with AC Milan, where he struggled for consistency last season.
The Spanish forward featured in 25 matches across all competitions for Milan in the 2024/25 season, starting 21 times, scoring six goals and providing one assist. He joined Galatasaray on loan during the second half of the campaign, where he enjoyed a more productive spell — scoring seven goals and registering one assist in 16 appearances.

Como, recently promoted to the top flight, have been active in the transfer market as they seek to solidify their place in Serie A. Morata’s arrival is seen as a statement signing, with the club identifying him as a key figure in their long-term project.
The final step in the process will be the formal agreement between Galatasaray and Milan to terminate the loan deal, paving the way for Morata’s full registration as a Como player.
