President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has warmly congratulated Prince Adeniyi Oyemade, a respected statesman, accomplished entrepreneur, and prominent political leader, on attaining the landmark age of 70.
The former Lagos State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry and two-time member of the Lagos State House of Assembly was celebrated by the President for his unwavering dedication to governance, grassroots development, and national progress.
The congratulatory message was conveyed on Sunday through the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga.

Prince Oyemade, a native of Ogun State, earned political recognition as the representative of Ikeja Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, where he served two legislative terms with distinction.
His tenure was marked by his stewardship as Chairman of the Budget and Appropriations Committee and the Education Committee, positions in which he championed fiscal transparency, efficient budgetary planning, and progressive education reforms.
He also brought his expertise to other strategic committees, including Finance, Public Accounts, Sports and Social Development, and Mineral Resources, where his inputs contributed to the strengthening of legislative oversight and policy direction.
President Tinubu praised Oyemade’s “results-driven approach to governance” and recalled how his leadership shaped key reforms in budgetary processes, educational development, fiscal policy, and overall public service delivery in Lagos State.
