American basketball forward Chuma Okeke has officially joined Real Madrid Baloncesto, ushering in a fresh chapter in his basketball journey as he looks to make his mark in the EuroLeague.
In his first official interview with RealMadrid TV , the 25-year-old expressed excitement about the move, describing it as both a personal milestone and a competitive opportunity.
“It’s going to be a new experience—something very exciting for me. What I want is to start, win, and continue to have fun playing basketball,” Okeke said.
Ready Physically and Mentally
Known for his versatility and strength, Okeke revealed that he feels in peak physical condition heading into this new challenge.
“Over the years, I’ve prepared my body to withstand whatever it takes. Right now, I feel stronger than ever. I’m in really good shape. I wouldn’t say I’ve reached my peak, but I’m close,” he added confidently.

“He told me that Real Madrid is a great organisation—the best in the EuroLeague—and that I was going to love it. I’d already heard good things, and I did my own research. Everything checked out,” Okeke explained.
