It has been two years since the passing of Fatai Atilola Nurudeen, yet his memory remains vivid and deeply cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though time has moved forward, the void left by his absence continues to be felt—within his family, among his colleagues, and across the wider broadcasting and creative community in Oyo State.

His dedication was unwavering, and his presence was a steadying force to both his team and the larger BCOS family. Whether he was crafting campaigns, managing outreach, or contributing to strategy, Atilola approached each responsibility with intelligence, humility, and a sense of purpose that inspired others.
His belief in the power of media as a tool for positive change was evident in all he did. He understood the weight of the institution he represented and carried that responsibility with grace and enthusiasm. His contributions to BCOS were not just professional—they were personal. He poured his heart into his work, believing deeply in the role of public broadcasting in enlightening, empowering, and connecting people.
Beyond his professional achievements, Atilola was a man of warmth, laughter, and kindness. To his family, he was a devoted son, sibling, and relative—gentle, dependable, and endlessly supportive. To his friends, he was a confidant, a motivator, and a consistent source of light and joy. He lived with simplicity and purpose, always finding time to uplift those around him. His laughter lit up rooms, and his calm nature was a balm in difficult times.

To his colleagues at BCOS and members of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU), he was not just a teammate but a brother in the shared mission of using arts and media to enrich lives. His loyalty to the organisation and union was unwavering, and his loss is deeply felt within these professional circles. His legacy continues to guide and inspire the work of those who walked alongside him.
