Renowned international media executive Vivian Yin has unveiled her latest venture, Y+X Entertainment Group, a bold new 360° creative company designed to bridge cultures, formats, and intellectual property (IP) ecosystems across the global entertainment landscape.

Officially launched in July 2025, Y+X Entertainment is being described as a “next-gen storytelling powerhouse” that aims to foster groundbreaking collaborations between East and West. Headquartered in Los Angeles, with a strategic presence in major Asian and European markets, the company is set to develop and produce cross-border content for film, television, digital platforms, and immersive experiences.
Vivian Yin, former CEO of Fremantle China and a widely respected figure in global media strategy, said the company’s mission is to “connect visionary creators with global audiences through culturally rich, scalable stories.” According to Yin, the Y+X name represents the collaborative spirit between “You and Me, East and West, Art and Business.”
The launch of Y+X comes at a time when the entertainment industry is rapidly evolving due to AI integration, streaming disruption, and the rising demand for diverse, authentic content that resonates globally. Y+X will specialize in IP development and adaptation, scripted and unscripted content production, talent incubation, and branded entertainment.

Yin has also confirmed early partnerships with leading global studios, Asian production houses, and streaming giants such as Tencent, Amazon Prime Video, and CJ ENM, pointing to an aggressive growth strategy that places storytelling at the heart of media innovation.
“Our focus is not just on making content,” Yin emphasized, “but on building long-term cultural brands that can travel across platforms, regions, and generations.”
Y+X Entertainment is also launching an emerging creators initiative aimed at supporting female filmmakers, diasporic storytellers, and underrepresented voices. The initiative will offer development grants, mentorship, and co-production opportunities with an international slate of partners.
Yin’s track record in content localization and international format adaptation (including titles such as China’s Got Talent and The X Factor China) positions Y+X as a formidable player in what many analysts see as the next phase of entertainment globalization.
The entertainment world is watching closely as Y+X prepares to announce its first slate of projects in Q4 2025, including a multilingual dystopian drama series, a pan-Asian musical docuseries, and a hybrid animation-IP collaboration set for 2026 release.
With Yin at the helm and a strategy rooted in innovation, diversity, and global resonance, Y+X Entertainment is poised to reshape how stories are told—and who gets to tell them.
