The Nigerian entertainment scene came alive on Monday night, July 29, 2025, as top Nigerian artists including Timi Dakolo, Flavour, Teni, and rising performer Fido delivered electrifying performances in honour of the victorious Super Falcons at a presidential dinner held in Abuja.

The event, hosted at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton Hotel, was organized by the Federal Government to celebrate Nigeria’s national women’s football team for clinching the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in Morocco.
The Falcons, who returned home to a hero’s welcome just hours earlier, were treated to a glamorous night of music, applause, and national pride, highlighting their impressive feat in African women’s football.
In attendance were key government officials and cultural icons, including the Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa; Minister of State for Finance, Doris Uzoka-Anite; Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo; popular comedian Seyi Law; and renowned football analyst, Kelechi Anyikude. The dignitaries hailed the players for their resilience and determination, acknowledging them as ambassadors of hope and excellence for Nigerian women and youth.
Timi Dakolo set the tone with his soulful voice, performing crowd favourites like “Great Nation,” while Flavour lit up the room with his highlife energy. Teni brought infectious energy with her performance of “Uyo Meyo” and other hit tracks, sparking cheers and sing-alongs among the Falcons and guests. Fido, the rising star, impressed with his versatility and stage presence, marking a memorable debut on such a grand stage.
