The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu on Saturday joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating the Super Falcons’ thrilling victory at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) final.
The Nigerian team produced a dramatic second-half comeback in Rabat, Morocco, defeating the host nation 3-2 to secure their 10th continental title — a record in the competition’s history.

The First Lady shared photos of herself rejoicing moments after the final whistle, her jubilant celebration reflecting the nationwide excitement over the team’s remarkable achievement.

In a post on her official X handle, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu hailed the Super Falcons’ triumph as “remarkable and commendable”, describing it as a symbol of hard work, consistency, and the indomitable Nigerian spirit.
