Pre-season: Manchester United Announce 32-Man Squad for 2025 US Tour

Manchester United have confirmed a 32-man squad for the American leg of 2025 Pre-season Tour, presented by Snapdragon, as new manager Ruben Amorim leads the team into the Premier League Summer Series for the first time.

The Reds are set to kick off their U.S. campaign this weekend with a highly anticipated clash against WestHam United at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The match gets underway at midnight (UK time) in the early hours of Sunday morning.

United will also face Bournemouth and Everton in the round-robin tournament, which serves as an important phase of pre-season preparations ahead of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.

All three matches are scheduled to be broadcast live on the club’s official TV MUTV (excluding viewers in the United States), offering fans around the world a first glimpse of the squad under Amorim’s leadership.

New Signings Join the Tour

Summer signings Matheus Cunha, Diego Leon, and Bryan Mbeumo are all included in the travelling party. Mbeumo, who completed his move from Brentford on Monday night, trained with his new teammates for the first time before boarding the flight to the U.S.

Highly rated defender Leny Yoro and former PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte also feature in the group, along with a mix of established stars, promising youngsters, and academy prospects.

Altay Bayindir, Tom Heaton, Dermot Mee, Will Murdock, Andre Onana.

Defenders:

Diogo Dalot, Matthijs de Ligt, Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu, Tyler Fredricson, Ayden Heaven, Diego Leon, Lisandro Martinez, Noussair Mazraoui, Reece Munro, Luke Shaw, Leny Yoro.

Midfielders:

Casemiro, Toby Collyer, Bruno Fernandes, Jack Fletcher, Sekou Kone, Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount, Manuel Ugarte.

Forwards:

Amad Diallo, Matheus Cunha, Rasmus Hojlund, Bendito Mantato, Bryan Mbeumo, Chido Obi-Martin, Ethan Williams, Joshua Zirkzee.

Meanwhile, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia all left out of the squad as they are all up for sale.

Harry Maguire is also not with the team due to personal reasons according to internal sources and he’s expected to be back soon before the season’s opener against Arsenal at Old Trafford.

United’s tour not only presents a valuable opportunity for tactical tuning under Amorim’s guidance but also offers the club’s younger players a platform to impress ahead of the new season.
