The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the renewal of its strategic partnership with leading motorcycle manufacturer Apsonic, naming the company an Official Sponsor of the upcoming TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 and AFCON 2027, set to be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

The new agreement builds on the success of their initial collaboration during AFCON Côte d’Ivoire 2023, which garnered an impressive global audience of over 1.5 billion viewers across 178 countries.

Partnership Sealed in China

The renewed sponsorship deal was officially signed in Guangzhou, China, in the presence of CAF General Secretary Véron Mosengo-Omba and Zhang Lian, Chairman of Sincerity Holdings Group, Apsonic’s parent company.

CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe praised the development, noting that Apsonic’s continued support highlights the growing commercial appeal and global interest in African football.

“We are pleased to renew our partnership with Apsonic following the success of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023,” said Motsepe.

“It is important to CAF that significant commercial value and benefits are created for our sponsors as a result of their partnerships. We look forward to expanding this mutually beneficial relationship and our shared commitment to the growth and development of African football.”

Apsonic’s Commitment to Africa

Apsonic has a well-established presence across the African continent and has been widely recognized for both the durability of its motorcycles and its contributions to local communities.

Chairman Zhang Lian reaffirmed the company’s dedication to African development and culture through sports:

“As a well-known motorcycle brand in Africa, Apsonic has earned the trust of millions through reliable quality and its contribution to improving daily life.

We have always been deeply involved in African culture, livelihood, and sports, and our passion for football reflects our identity. The ‘speed and passion’ of Apsonic motorcycles and football together continue to bring joy across Africa.”

Extensive Brand Exposure

Under the terms of the agreement, Apsonic will enjoy premium brand visibility across all CAF platforms, including:

In-stadium advertising and LED branding, Digital and social media activations, Fan engagement campaigns, Broadcast and global marketing opportunities during the tournaments.

The renewal marks another significant commercial milestone for CAF, as it continues to attract major brands seeking to align with one of the most watched and passionately followed football competitions in the world.

AFCON 2025 is scheduled to be hosted in Morocco, with the 2027 edition set to break new ground as the first-ever co-hosted tournament in East Africa, by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
