Global K-pop powerhouse BlackPink has once again proven its dominance on the world music stage, with its latest single, Jump, skyrocketing to the No. 1 spot on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart. The milestone, confirmed by YG Entertainment on Monday, marks the girl group’s third chart-topping single on Spotify, following their previous global hits Pink Venom and Shut Down in 2022.

Jump achieved a staggering 13 million streams within just two days of its release last Friday, making it one of the fastest-streaming K-pop tracks of 2025. The song has also dominated the iTunes Top Songs chart in 60 countries and regions, including major markets like the United States, United Kingdom, Brazil, and Japan.

According to industry analysts, this streaming surge reflects BlackPink’s continued global influence and its ability to consistently attract massive audiences across multiple platforms.

YG Entertainment revealed that Jump signals a stylistic shift for the group, incorporating guitar riffs inspired by Western action films while showcasing the quartet’s distinctive vocals. Fans and critics alike have praised the track for its bold experimentation, describing it as a refreshing blend of cinematic soundscapes and K-pop energy.

Music blogger Han Ji-woo commented, “BlackPink has mastered the art of evolving with every release. Jump feels like a Hollywood soundtrack yet keeps the infectious energy that made them K-pop icons.”

The single’s success coincides with the kickoff of BlackPink’s North American “Deadline” world tour leg, which launched with two sold-out shows at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium over the weekend. YG Entertainment confirmed that the performances drew a combined audience of 100,000 fans, further fueling global buzz and helping drive streaming numbers.

Fans attending the concerts shared clips of the group’s high-energy live performance of Jump, sending hashtags like #BlackPinkJump and #DeadlineWorldTour trending across TikTok and X (formerly Twitter).

This latest achievement solidifies BlackPink’s position as one of the most successful girl groups in music history. Since their debut, the group has consistently broken streaming records, and Jump is expected to continue its dominance on other Billboard and global charts in the coming weeks.

YG Entertainment has hinted at releasing behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the track and its upcoming music video premiere, keeping fans eagerly anticipating more content.
