Yesterday, the Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Engineer Babachir David Lawal, formally announced his resignation from the ruling APC, drawing a final curtain on his long-standing association with the party.
In a resignation letter dated June 29, addressed to the Chairman of the APC in Bangshika Ward, Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Lawal stated that his departure from the party takes immediate effect. He noted that he would announce his next political move soon.
