REDAN President Prince Adeoye Emerges as New Oluoke of Okeigbo

Prince Akintoye Adeoye, the President of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), has been officially selected as the new Oluoke of Okeigbo, a traditional stool in Okeigbo, Ondo State.

The announcement was made in a statement issued by Elder Ayodele Olopade, the Media Director of the Aare Kugbaigbe Ruling House. According to the statement, the selection was jointly confirmed by the Chairman of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government, Mr. Adebare Adeoye, and the leadership of the ruling house.

Chairman Adeoye commended the kingmakers and community elders responsible for the selection process, describing them as transparent, honest, and committed to peace. He lauded the maturity and fairness demonstrated throughout the traditional process.

Prince Adeoye, now the Oba-elect of Okeigbo, is a seasoned and respected figure in Nigeria’s real estate and legal sectors. With a professional career that spans more than 30 years, he is widely recognized for his integrity, strategic insight, and achievements in property development and legal practice.

His academic background is equally impressive. He earned both his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, in Osun State. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1993, subsequently becoming a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

In addition to his legal qualifications, Prince Adeoye also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Life Seminary University, Ibadan, further reflecting his broad intellectual and moral grounding.

Beyond his academic and professional accomplishments, the Oluoke-elect has actively participated in numerous leadership and empowerment programmes both within Nigeria and internationally, underscoring his dedication to personal development and community service.

His emergence as the traditional ruler marks a significant milestone for the Okeigbo community, as he brings to the royal office a wealth of experience, visionary leadership, and a commitment to societal advancement.
