A 40-year-old man, identified as Yau Ari Dawa, has been arrested by the Yobe State Police Command for allegedly stabbing his neighbour to death during a violent altercation over a suspected extramarital affair involving his wife.
The tragic incident reportedly occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in Fulameri Village, located in the Geidam Local Government Area of Yobe State. According to local sources, Dawa confronted his neighbour, 35-year-old Mallam Faji Gana, whom he accused of having an illicit relationship with his 25-year-old wife, Noja Yau.
