The ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza has led to a significant increase in casualties, with at least 35 people killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza today, according to hospital sources.

This brings the total death toll in Gaza to over 56,156 people, with 132,239 wounded since the start of the war, as reported by Gaza’s Health Ministry. In the north of Gaza, at least 14 of those killed today were reported.

The conflict has also drawn international attention, with Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei congratulating the country’s armed forces and warning that US bases could be attacked again in case of future threats.

This development comes as President Donald Trump announces that US and Iranian officials will engage in talks next week. Meanwhile, Iran’s Guardian Council has suspended cooperation with the UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The recent escalation in violence has resulted in significant loss of life on both sides. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, over 56,156 people have been killed in Gaza, while an estimated 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the October 7 attacks, with more than 200 taken captive.

Iran’s Health Ministry reports that at least 627 people were killed and over 4,870 injured during Israel’s 12-day attack on the country. Additionally, at least 28 people were killed in Iranian strikes on Israel.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, with thousands of people displaced and in need of assistance. The international community has expressed concern over the escalating violence and called for an immediate ceasefire and peace talks to prevent further loss of life.

In light of these developments, the situation remains volatile, with potential for further escalation. Diplomatic efforts are underway to address the crisis, but the situation on the ground remains dire. The death toll continues to rise, and the need for humanitarian assistance is increasingly urgent.
