Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye, Chairman of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Board, will be inducted into the inaugural National Development Hall of Fame, recognizing his outstanding contributions to Nigerian football and national progress.
The ceremony, set to take place at the Nigeria National Merit Award Secretariat in Abuja, will celebrate distinguished Nigerians driving socio-economic and developmental advancements.
Elegbeleye will be joined by notable figures such as Kogi State Governor Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, NDLEA Chairman Maj. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd.), and boxing icon Bash Ali, among others. High Chief Darlinghtyn Momoh Umoru, Director of Honours, praised Elegbeleye’s transformative leadership in revitalizing the NPFL and fostering youth development through sports.
