The conflict between Iran and Israel has escalated, with both countries exchanging attacks and resulting in multiple casualties. According to reports, at least nine people have been killed and over 300 injured in Israel since Iran launched its retaliatory attacks on Friday. In Iran, nearly 140 people have been killed, including 78 on the first day of Israel’s campaign, with scores more injured.
The Israeli military launched airstrikes targeting Iranian military and nuclear infrastructure, including a major enrichment facility at Natanz, killing over 70 people, including top security officials. Iran retaliated by launching dozens of ballistic missiles and drones at Israeli cities, killing at least three civilians and wounding dozens. The strikes have led to widespread damage, prompted civilian evacuations, and triggered regional instability.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to respond to the recent attack, saying “More is on the way. The (Iranian) regime does not know what hit them, or what will hit them. It has never been weaker.” The conflict erupted amid ongoing diplomatic efforts between Iran and the United States to revive nuclear talks, which Israel is skeptical about.
The Iranian United Nations ambassador, Amir Saeid Iravani, reported that more than 70 people have been killed and 329 injured in Iran. The country’s state media confirmed that at least 78 people were killed in the Israeli raids, with the death toll expected to rise as emergency crews clear debris from hit areas.

The situation remains volatile, with international observers closely monitoring the next moves from both Tel Aviv and Tehran, hoping to avoid a full-scale war in an already unstable region. World leaders have called for restraint, raising concerns about a looming regional crisis.
