Iran has issued a stern warning to the United States, United Kingdom, and France(Western allies), stating that any assistance to Israel in defending against Iranian attacks will be met with retaliatory strikes on Western military bases and naval forces in the region. This warning comes amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel, with the two countries exchanging missile strikes and airstrikes.

According to reports, Iran’s state media delivered the warning, reflecting Tehran’s growing resolve and readiness to widen the scope of the conflict. “Any effort to obstruct Iran’s military operations against Israel will trigger retaliatory strikes against Western military bases and naval forces stationed across the region,” the warning stated.

The threat marks a significant shift in rhetoric and strategy, signaling Tehran’s growing belief that European powers may become more than just diplomatic actors and instead military participants. The UK government is reportedly monitoring the safety of personnel at its embassy in Tehran, concerned they could face reprisals.

Meanwhile, both the US and Canada have closed their embassies in the Iranian capital. US President Donald Trump has called for Tehran to make a deal “before it is too late,” while UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has urged all parties to step back and reduce tensions urgently.
