A troubling case of assault has emerged from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, as three women have come forward to demand justice after they were allegedly brutalized during a night out at a popular club in the city.
According to the women, they had gone out to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had reserved a table specifically for the occasion. While enjoying their evening, a man reportedly approached their table and joined them uninvited.
One of the victims recounted that the man appeared agitated and immediately instructed them not to record or film him. The atmosphere quickly turned tense.
Without any provocation, the man allegedly launched a violent attack on one of the women seated at the table. The situation soon escalated as all three ladies claim they were physically assaulted by the man during the incident. One of the victims suffered a serious facial injury, losing her front tooth after being punched in the face.
As if that were not enough, one of the women claimed that following the initial assault, the man’s private security personnel joined in. She narrated that they forcefully stripped her naked and beat her severely, treating her in a manner she described as degrading and criminal—”as though I were a thief,” she said.
The traumatic experience has left the women deeply shaken, and they are now calling on law enforcement agencies and relevant authorities to step in.
They insist that justice must prevail and that the individual responsible, along with his accomplices, should be identified, investigated, and prosecuted in accordance with the law.
Their appeal has begun to gain public attention, with many Nigerians expressing outrage over the incident and demanding accountability. For the victims, however, the plea remains simple and urgent: justice, not just for themselves, but to ensure such violations are never repeated.
