Bayelsa Queens FC has relocated to a new, upgraded camp after three years at their previous facility, a move that has sparked excitement among players and officials.
The transition, supported by the Prosperity Government, aims to provide a more conducive environment for the team.

During an inspection of the new facility, Dr. Daniel Igali, Hon. Commissioner for Sports Development, emphasized the importance of a supportive setting for the team’s success. “Football is more than a game; it’s a universal language that inspires and unites.”
Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala, Chairman of Bayelsa Queens FC, expressed gratitude to Governor Douye Diri, Deputy Governor Senator Lawrence Ehwrudjakpo, and Dr. Igali for their unwavering support. “The government’s leadership, constructive feedback, and commitment to our needs have been invaluable,” Apreala said. “This new camp is a testament to their dedication to our success.”
Apreala urged the team to capitalize on this gesture by working hard to win accolades for Bayelsa State. “With this support, we must keep playing well and bring home laurels,” he said.
The new camp is expected to boost the team’s morale and performance as they prepare for upcoming competitions, including the prestigious CAF WAFU-B tournament.
