As Nigerians commemorate this year’s Democracy Day, the Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Adekunle Salako, has urged all citizens to uphold unity and actively contribute to national progress.

Abiola as “the uncrowned king of the era,” stating that the democratic strides of June 12 eventually paved the way for the institutional recognition of May 29 as Democracy Day. That election, widely regarded as the most transparent in the nation’s history, remains a cornerstone in Nigeria’s democratic evolution.
