The Akeem Atilola Basketball Foundation Camp is set to ignite Ibadan with its second edition, promising an electrifying showcase of young basketball talent on June 11–12, 2025.

Hosted at the Adamasingba Stadium Outdoor Court, the highly anticipated event aims to surpass its groundbreaking 2024 debut by offering a larger platform for development, competition, and life-changing opportunities, including college scholarships for top performers.

Hundreds of young athletes from across Nigeria are expected to converge in Ibadan for the two-day camp, which organizers describe as more than just a basketball event. “This camp is a launchpad,” said a foundation representative.

This year’s camp will feature a series of high-energy activities designed to test skill and determination. Highlights include a Slam Dunk Showdown, a 3-Point Sniper Challenge, an All-Star Game, and MVP Honors to recognize standout performers.

Beyond the court, attendees will benefit from mentorship and motivational sessions led by top coaches and former players, offering insights into succeeding in sports and life.

A major draw is the opportunity for exceptional athletes to secure college scholarships, opening doors to education and international exposure. The foundation’s commitment to creating pathways for Nigerian youth underscores its mission to elevate the country’s basketball scene.

With registration already drawing significant numbers, participants are urged to arrive early, prepared to compete and connect.
