For the first time, 24 nations will compete in the finals.
Hosts Morocco, one of Africa’s five representatives, will be joined in Pot 1 by defending champions North Korea, Spain, Japan, the United States, and Nigeria, which is making its eighth appearance. Pots 2, 3, and 4 include teams such as Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, China, Cameroon, South Korea, Paraguay, Costa Rica, and Samoa, among others.
The ceremony will set the stage for the highly anticipated global showcase of young women’s football talent.
