The management of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Sir Emmanuel Udoh, the esteemed Team Manager of Akwa United FC of Uyo, who died last weekend.
In a statement released by 3SC Media Officer Tosin Omojola, the club described Udoh as a revered former footballer and administrator, celebrated for his contributions to the Green Eagles, Calabar Rovers, and Bendel Insurance. “We are saddened by the exit of this highly revered figure,” the statement read, noting that Udoh’s legacy in Nigerian football, both at club and national levels, will remain unforgettable.
Acknowledging the significant void left by Udoh’s demise, 3SC extended heartfelt condolences to Akwa United, Udoh’s immediate and extended family, friends, and colleagues.
The club prayed for strength for those grieving and for eternal rest for the departed hero.
