The management of Katsina United Football Club has introduced updates to the previously announced end-of-season break for the 2024/2025 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
Initially, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Sports, Rabiu Muhammad Rabiu, declared a three-week break for players, technical crew, and backroom staff following the season’s conclusion. However, a new statement from the Permanent Secretary clarifies that players’ resumption will now be strictly by invitation.
The club’s management has urged all players currently on break to accept this decision in good faith. They also extended best wishes for a fruitful break and a pleasant stay with their families.
