President Bola Tinubu has expressed profound sorrow upon receiving the tragic news of a fatal accident involving members of the Kano State contingent, who were returning from the recently concluded National Sports Festival held in Ogun State.

In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu conveyed the Federal Government’s deepest condolences to the Kano State government and its people, as well as to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in the accident.

He described the incident as a heartbreaking loss that has cast a somber shadow over what was meant to be a joyous celebration.
