The Super Falcons, Nigeria’s senior women’s national football team, opened their training camp today in Ijebu-Ode, with key players Captain Rasheedat Ajibade, defender Michelle Alozie, winger Rinsola Babajide, and midfielder Jennifer Echegini among the early arrivals.
Joining them today are Toni Payne, Deborah Abiodun, Ifeoma Onumonu, Osinachi Ohale, Tosin Demehin, Rofiat Imuran, Shukurat Oladipo, Sikiratu Isah, and Blessing Ilivieda. Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie is expected to arrive on Tuesday, while midfielder Christy Ucheibe will join the squad on Wednesday.
The camp marks the beginning of preparations for upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
