Team Kwara’s Adekunle Feranmi and Babatunde Abdullateef are setting their sights on gold in future National Sports Festivals after securing silver medals in the Badminton Mixed Doubles and Team Events at the Gateway Games 2024.
The duo, who had aimed for the top prize, expressed pride in their achievements and vowed to build on their success. “Earning silver motivates me to push harder. I’m determined to represent Nigeria at national and international levels with dedication and resilience,” Feranmi said.
Abdullateef echoed his partner’s ambition, stating, “My goal is to win gold for Kwara next time. I’m grateful to my coach for the guidance that led us to this point.”
