Sokoto United, a Nigeria National League (NNL) outfit, has strengthened its technical team with the appointment of four new members, as confirmed by Hajia Hadiza Galadima, the state Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.
The new appointees, who are set to resume duties immediately, include Bashar Attahiru Black as team coordinator, Abdullahi A. Shehu as technical director, Haliru Sambo as assistant coach, and Kabiru Abdullahi as goalkeeper trainer.
The strategic move comes as Sokoto United aims to secure a spot in the NNL Super Six playoff. Currently sitting fourth in Group C with 16 points from 11 matches, the team is gearing up for a pivotal final match of the season against Jigawa Golden Stars.
