George Aluo, Chairman of the Nigerian National League (NNL), has vowed to uphold the league’s integrity, ensuring only the most deserving teams advance to the Super Eight and secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
In a statement, Aluo emphasized the NNL board’s dedication to international best practices, resisting external pressures to maintain fairness. “Since we took charge, we’ve upheld high integrity, evident in the quality of teams promoted to the NPFL last season,” he said. “We are committed to replicating this standard this season.”
Aluo thanked Nigeria Football Federation President Ibrahim Gusau for his unwavering support and reassured fans and stakeholders that the NNL is on track to become Nigeria’s best-managed football league.
