Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has called on the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and the Director General of the Department of State Services, Oluwatosin Ajayi, to urgently arrest and prosecute the President of the Neo Black Movement of Africa, Olorogun Ese Kakor, over allegations of forging official state government documents.

In a petition, Governor Okpebholo accused Kakor of fabricating documents that falsely claimed he had received government authorization to assist schools in the Edo South Senatorial District. He described the act as both fraudulent and a serious attack on the integrity of the state’s administrative systems.

According to the governor, the forgery was allegedly carried out in collusion with certain junior civil servants, who have since been identified, detained, and are currently under investigation by the police to determine their level of involvement.

Okpebholo said, “Edo State Governor, I am calling on the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Oluwatosin Ajayi, to initiate the immediate arrest and prosecution of the President of the Neo Black Movement of Africa, Olorogun Ese Kakor, over alleged forgery of official state government documents.

“Those civil servants implicated in the forgery have already been identified and taken into custody, and a police investigation is currently underway to determine their level of culpability. All those found culpable would be prosecuted by the law.”

Governor Okpebholo assured that anyone found guilty would face the full weight of the law. He also disclosed that the land title for the Neo Black Movement’s headquarters in Edo State has been revoked, citing the group’s suspected involvement in violent and unlawful activities.

He urged the Nigeria Police Force and the DSS to intensify efforts to dismantle criminal organizations and ensure that all individuals responsible for such acts are held accountable.
