The Otun Olubadan of Ibadan land and former governor of Oyo State, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has been chosen to chair the forthcoming 2025 World Egungun Festival.

The Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Oyo State, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun, made this disclosure during a courtesy visit to Oba Ladoja at his residence in Ibadan.

Dr. Olatunbosun stated that the purpose of the visit was to formally inform Oba Ladoja of the ministry’s plans to seek his consent to chair the 2025 festival and to solicit for his royal blessings.
