Landmark Ruling: Court Validates Satguru Maharaj ji’s Ibadan Land ownership

The court has admitted the evidence presented by Satguru Maharaj Ji over Land Dispute

The Oyo State High Court in Ibadan has ruled in favor of Satguru Maharaj Ji, admitting documents that prove his ownership of a disputed land in Aladorin village along the Ibadan-Lagos Expressway.

Justice Olajide of Fiat Court 3 deemed the evidence presented sufficient to establish Satguru Maharaj Ji’s claim.

The court accepted several key pieces of evidence, including: A 2004 Customary Court judgment that confirmed the Aladorin family sold the land to Satguru Maharaj Ji, contradicting the claimant’s assertion that the land was sold to the Olagoke family.

Taofeek Olagoke, the claimant, had argued that his late father, Olagoke, was the rightful owner of the land occupied by Satguru Maharaj Ji. However, Satguru Maharaj Ji has consistently provided evidence to support his ownership claim.

The court has admitted the evidence presented by Satguru Maharaj Ji.

The court granted an application to amend Satguru Maharaj Ji’s name in the ongoing proceedings (Fiat Court 10) and also granted a 14-day window for the introduction of new witnesses, starting from May 6th.

Both parties will present further arguments on July 8th, and the court will continue to consider the evidence and testimonies presented. The outcome of the case will determine the rightful owner of the disputed land.
