The NINAuth service offers several benefits, including:

  • Secure Identity Verification: Enables individuals to securely verify their identity and access key government services.
  • Convenient Access: Provides a secure and convenient way to access services, reducing the need for physical documentation.
  • Improved Data Management: Empowers individuals with greater control over their personal information and promotes transparency in digital identity management.

With the NINAuth service, individuals can access various government services, including:

  • SIM registration and replacement
  • Passport processing
  • Tax filings
  • Financial transactions
  • Government intervention programs
  • Driver’s license renewals
  • Other regulatory processes

The NINAuth service has been designated as the exclusive platform for all NIN-based verification and authentication integration processes. The implementation guide and process flow are available at (link unavailable).

The Presidency has also directed the use of NIN Authentication for verification and authentication across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

The NIMC’s inauguration of the NINAuth service reaffirms its commitment to advancing secured and efficient digital identity management, ensuring a more accessible, transparent, and secure identity verification system in Nigeria.
