Nigeria’s Flying Eagles and Morocco’s Lion Cubs failed to ignite the pitch, settling for a lackluster 0-0 draw in their second Group B match of the CAF U20 Cup of Nations at Cairo’s 30 June Air Defence Stadium on Sunday.

The seven-time champions, Nigeria, produced only one notable chance through midfielder Divine Oliseh in the first half, leaving fans disappointed by the absence of the anticipated flair. Both teams now sit on four points, with Morocco claiming the top spot due to their 3-2 victory over Kenya on Thursday.

Nigeria faces a crucial clash against Kenya’s winless Rising Stars on Wednesday to secure a quarter-final berth. Meanwhile, Morocco will take on Tunisia, who kept their hopes alive with a 3-1 win over Kenya earlier on Sunday, earning three points to stay third in the group.

The final Group B matches promise intense battles as the race for the knockout stage intensifies.
