World Summit 2025 and the formal presentation of the 2025 Sunhak Peace Prize.
Ahead of the World Summit 2025 and the formal award of the 2025 Sunhak Peace Prize, which was slated to take place on Friday, former President Goodluck Jonathan landed in Seoul, South Korea, on Thursday afternoon.

Jonathan expressed his gratitude to the South Korean government, officials from the Nigerian Embassy, and the organizers known as the Sunhak Peace Foundation and the Universal Peace Federation for their hospitality and warm reception. Jonathan announced the news of his arrival on his Facebook page.
On Facebook, Jonathan wrote, “We arrived in Seoul, South Korea, this afternoon ahead of tomorrow’s World Summit 2025 and the formal presentation of the 2025 Sunhak Peace Prize.

“I thank the Korean Government, Nigerian Embassy officials as well as the Sunhak Peace Foundation and the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), organisers of the programmes, for their kind courtesies and warm reception.”
With the goal of fostering international cooperation and identifying innovative solutions for future challenges, the World Summit brings together governments, international organizations, thought leaders, and private sector leaders from all over the world.
