The Bola Tinubu administration has reaffirmed its commitment to justice, fairness, and national unity by dismissing recent charges that show favoritism and imbalance in federal appointments.
The Federal Government has also refuted the claims. The administration referred to the charges, particularly those that were being spread on social media, as being malicious and without foundation in a statement that was released on Friday by the Office of the Secretary to the administration of the Federation (OSGF).
A statement signed by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations in OSGF, who signed on behalf of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) reads, “The Government categorically refutes claims of lopsidedness and emphasizes its unwavering commitment to the principles of fairness, equity, and national unity.
“The Administration is dedicated to ensuring that all regions and demographics of the country are adequately represented.”
By urging individuals to rely on official channels for factual information and to avoid what it called as purposeful attempts by “pokers of embers of hate and disunity” to mislead the public, the government urged citizens to rely on official means.
Assuring Nigerians that the Tinubu administration is still committed to constructing a nation that is united, prosperous, and equitable in accordance with its Renewed Hope Agenda, the Office of the State Governor (OSGF) reaffirmed its determination.
